The Executive of Olives New Zealand and GEA Westfalia are pleased to launch the 2014 New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards.
The 2014 Judges Panel comprises:
International Head Judge: Franca Camurati from Italy.
From Australia: Jenny Birrell and Trudie Michels.
New Zealand Judges: Raffaela Delmonte, Rachel Costello and Rachel Priestly.
The New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards are arguably the premier olive oil awards in New Zealand because this is the only competition that requires:

Best in Show – Andy Rosanowski Trophy plus Framed Certificate with Rosette attached sponsored by GEA Westfalia
Best Boutique – Perpetual trophy sponsored by COSPAK Ltd plus Framed Certificate with Rosette attached
Best in Class – Framed Certificates with Rosettes attached sponsored by Arthur Homes Ltd
Best Processor – Perpetual trophy donated by Imreys Talc plus Framed Certificate with Rosette attached
Best Label – Outright trophy sponsored by mrlabels & print
Gold, Silver and Bronze winners receive a certificate.
All entries will receive a copy of their summarised Judging Points Assessment Sheet including comments.

The results of the 2014 NZ EVOO Awards will be announced at the Awards Dinner in Wellington on Saturday 4th October.
